Notes on the Geography of Peru: Cusco: Photo 78
The tourists themselves are certainly less tiddly than they once were.
You recognize the location. The photographer is the same Martín Chambi who photographed Hatun Rumiyoc Street. Several collections of historic photographs with his work have been published.
See, for example, Andrés Garay Albújar, Cusco Revelado: Fotografías de Max T. Vargas, Max Uhley, Martín Chambi,, 2017, or May Castleberry, ed., The New World's Old World: Photographic Views of Ancient America, 2003.)
